Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of applications and services provided by App Wise Softwares ("we", "us", "our"), including PDF Canvas, and our website. By downloading, installing, or using our products, you agree to these Terms.
1. License to use our products
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms and the Google Play terms under which the apps are distributed.
2. Your content
You keep full ownership of every document and file you open, create, or edit with our products. Because our apps process files locally on your device, we never receive your content and claim no rights over it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use the files you work with.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
- Paid features and subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing. Prices are shown before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us — we will do our best to make it right.
- Features included in a free tier stay free. Paid features are clearly described before purchase.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use our products for any unlawful purpose or to process content you have no right to use
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our apps, except where such restriction is prohibited by law
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense our products without our written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our products or services
5. Intellectual property
Our apps, including their design, code, branding, logos, and names ("App Wise Softwares", "PDF Canvas", and related marks), are owned by App Wise Softwares and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
6. Updates and availability
We regularly improve our products and may add, change, or remove features. We may release updates that install automatically through Google Play. We aim for high reliability but do not guarantee that products will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Our products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use our products at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for maintaining backups of your important documents.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, App Wise Softwares shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the product in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using our products at any time by uninstalling them. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes or on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
